Hey, last week I went to do something out at the ordinary which I thought I might just share. The Last Goodnight was here in Australia promoting their second single, "Stay Beautiful". I really like their album - POISON KISS. The lead sings with such great passion, so much emotions and their lyrics are simple and right to the point, I just love the album. Anyway, back to my point, they were promoting their album here in Australia, a small promo sponsored by Aldo. They were at the Brisbane store at Queen Street Mall. Gee, the whole queuing and getting squashed, and autograph session felt so like high school days (reminded me of my "meeting" with Mr Ronan Keating at Tower Records back in 2000 - Can't believe it's 8 freaking years ago!). Well all in all, was a great night! He sounded so much better live actually. I just adore this band, the lead singer in particular. *WiNk*

not that i like him though, but i never met an international artist before.
Since I'm in the events line, I'm either backstage or I only meet local artists and that also not that great.
Best Achievement is meeting the ex prime minister of Malaysia. I event met his bodyguards, nice angry looking chaps with guns. I manage to get a picture with the ex prime minister too, after the bodyguards noticed I'm harmless and I was the PR agent for the Japan GT Racing. I was insulted for looking harmless.

I've met our ex-prime minister in person before too. Must be some International Children's Day back in ancient 1995 or so...Then his hair was turning gray, now they are probably all white, hahahha!! Bodyguards are so overrated and overused in Malaysia la, every Tom, Dick and Harry has bodyguards!! If only the security of the rakyats is tightened by not allowing so many illegal immigrants flooding the cities, tax payers wouldn't need to fund so much money for bodyguards for the high and mightys.

and ronan keating?? seems quite a contrast to this band cuz they seem kinda 'cool' compared to ronan keating who shaves his chest hair :P
Yes Farah you are right, The Last Goodnight is really COOL!! =) They are a young band in the mainstream music. But they do make good music!
well, that was my 'was cool' job. Now where I'm in, is not cool anymore.

Yeah, I'm still doing events. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy dealing with the current client. Stupid milk product. I'm actually thinking of a job switch, will blog about it.
